Soloro is a Regenerative Ag learning hub dedicated to connecting people with food, land, and community.

Mission: We grow food, knowledge, and community — connecting people to the land and to each other through sustainable farming and shared learning.

Vision: Healthy soil, healthy food, healthy community - a regenerative future built from the ground up.

Hands-On Workshops

At Soloro, learning is an immersive experience. We offer hands-on workshops that explore topics like regenerative farming, home gardening, composting, and resource conservation. Each session is designed to empower participants with practical skills they can apply in their homes, farms, or communities.

Collaboration and Community

Building community is at the heart of Soloro. We bring together locals, experts, and sustainability enthusiasts to exchange ideas, share resources, and collaborate on projects that drive meaningful change. From volunteer events to group discussions, our goal is to strengthen the bonds that unite us.

Food security

Soloro is dedicated to providing produce donations to local food security organizations such as the ECHO homeless shelter in Atascadero, the Estero Bay Kindness Coalition in Morro Bay, and the SLO Food Bank. Soloro also provides gleaning services to support food rescue initiatives in the county.

Soloro Habitat Restoration

Our flagship initiative: the restoration of the Soloro Campus, positioned along a portion of the Huer Huero Creek floodplain. With the help of state funded pollinator habitat grants, we are creating a diverse ecosystem of native plants to feed and house pollinators and other beneficial insects, birds, and mammals.

Campus Overview

Our campus in Creston is a sanctuary for sustainability designed to inspire connection with nature and community. Featuring regenerative gardens, an outdoor kitchen, a Zen-inspired bamboo sanctuary, and spaces for events and learning.

Harvest Festival

Each fall, we celebrate the season and our community with a Harvest Festival. It’s a joyful gathering filled with live music, farm-to-table food, workshops, and family-friendly activities, showcasing the spirit of sustainability and togetherness.
